The best I can think of is to do a real time sync between the Classic ASP and the MVC application, but if this is possible through some web application I don't know how. A: I would avoid a real time sync between the server and client for a simple reason: latency. So if you need to do an operation on the server, the client needs to wait the network latency before returning the updated value. And with 30 concurrent users you will suffer from real time lag. An approach I would recommend is that your application is not 100% sync'd with the server. Instead I would have a callback function when you are ready with an update. This allows the server to go ahead and do whatever it needs to do while the client is processing it (and if network issue happens, the value it returns is the last they have updated).
